The statue of Winston Churchill in Parliament Square. Sadly, the only people I ever saw climbing on the statue were some young Americans.

The Tower Bridge. This photo is from the "Big Bus" tour that we did on Sunday, October 10. The "Big Bus" tour is one of at least three bus tour companies in London that allow "hop-on, hop-off" tours. Their buses run all day, every day and visit all the major historical, entertainment, and commercial attractions in London. Their buses are all double-decker buses and provide a great way to get around and see London. The live commentary that is provided on each bus provides information about all the sights. I know it sounds kind of cheesy, but it's especially useful towards the end of the day when you're exhausted, but you want to see more—you just hop on and watch and listen to the live commentary.

We took a break from the bus tour and visited the Tower of London. By the way, the bus tour people were able to sell us tickets to the Tower of London. That kept us from standing in a line that was at least a quarter of a mile long.

After our guided tour provided by one of the colorfully dressed Beefeaters (very entertaining). We saw the crown jewels and a made a walk up the Tower of London.

Pat was brave enough to stand next to one of the Beefeaters. They're very friendly.
