This is Pat in front of Buckingham Palace. We walked around a little bit in front of Buckingham Palace and learned that the next changing of the guard wasn't until the day after tomorrow. After a couple of seconds of thought about this, our jet-lagged minds were able to figure out that we would, in fact, be in London for this.

The lions surrounding the Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace. As ferocious as they look, tourists love to climb on them. I felt lucky to get a photo of one without people all over it.

The Horse Guards. The building behind these guards is the residence for the guards for Buckingham Palace. This building is very centrally-located—we past this set of guards either on foot or on a bus almost everyday we were in London.
