After arriving at Gatwick International Airport in the south part of London, we took the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station, then caught the District line tube to Earl's Court. After dropping off our luggage, we made our way back to the Westminster stop of the District line. When we surfaced, the building directly in front of us was the Houses of Parliament. Part of the Houses of Parliament building, of course, is the tower containing Big Ben.
